How To Search A YouTube Channel

Searching for specific videos within a YouTube channel can be a time-saving technique to find the content you’re looking for.

On desktop, open YouTube and sign in to your account. Head to the channel you want to search and click on the search icon in the channel’s navigation bar. Enter your search keywords and browse the videos that appear.

On mobile, use your mobile browser to go to YouTube and sign in to your account if necessary. Go to the channel you want to search, click on the drop-down arrow on the right side of the screen, select Search, enter your search terms, and browse through the videos that appear. Unfortunately, the YouTube mobile app does not have a search function for specific videos within a channel.

Can I Use the Same Methods to Search for Other YouTube Channels as I Do to Find My Own?

When looking for new YouTube channels, the same methods can be used as when finding your own. Simply use the search bar and type in “how to locate youtube channels.” Look for recommendations, explore related channels, and use filters to narrow down your search results. Happy exploring!

Searching a YouTube Channel on Desktop and Mobile

To search for a YouTube channel on desktop, you can follow a few simple steps to find specific videos within the channel. First, open YouTube and sign in to your account. Then, navigate to the channel you want to search.

Once you’re on the channel’s page, look for the search icon in the channel’s navigation bar. It usually appears as a magnifying glass or a search box. Click on it to open the search function.

In the search bar, enter your desired keywords or phrases that are relevant to the videos you want to find within the channel. Press Enter or click the search button to initiate the search.

After conducting the search, YouTube will display a list of videos that match your search terms. You can now browse through the videos and select the ones that align with your interests or needs.

On mobile, the process is slightly different. Use your mobile browser to go to YouTube and sign in to your account if necessary. Once you’re logged in, navigate to the channel you want to search.

On the channel’s page, look for the drop-down arrow located on the right side of the screen. Tap on it to reveal additional options. From the list of options, select “Search” to access the search function.

Enter your search terms in the search bar and tap on the search button to begin the search process. YouTube will then display the videos that match your search criteria, allowing you to browse through them and find the specific videos you’re looking for.

It’s worth noting that the YouTube mobile app, unfortunately, does not have a search function specifically for finding videos within a channel. Therefore, you’ll need to use your mobile browser to perform this task.
