How To Go Back To The Old YouTube Layout

Are you missing the old YouTube layout? Follow our step-by-step guide to learn how to revert back to the previous version of YouTube on your PC.

To go back to the old YouTube layout on your PC, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://www.youtube.com/ and open the YouTube homepage.
  2. Press the combination key CTRL+SHIFT+I to open a popup interface on the right side of the window.
  3. Select the Application tab from the top menu.
  4. Find the Cookies option and expand it.
  5. Select youtube.com from the list of websites.
  6. Look for the cookie named PREF and double-click on the Value table.
  7. Replace the value with f6=8. Note that this may change the language preference.
  8. Close the interface and refresh the YouTube page to see the old layout.

Please note that starting from March, YouTube will no longer allow users to revert to the old layout.
