Fortify Scanning File as Wrong Type in Fortify Static Code Analyzer and Apps

When scanning a .ldt file, Fortify throws an error saying that the “license does not allow access to Fortify SCA for Python”. The fortify-sca.properties file is set in a way that .ldt files are treated as a PLSQL, and nowhere in the properties file is it set up to treat anything as Python.

This is a known issue related to Python on SCA 19.1.

To fix it please follow these steps:

1. Browse to /SCA_install_directory/Core/config/

2. Locate fortify.properties

3. Open it with notepad or any other text editor

4. Add the following string at the end of file: com.fortify.sca.DISabledLanguages=python

5. Save the file
